An experimental study on mechanical properties of EPS in SIPs

摘要 通过对以定向刨花板(OSB)为面板、模塑聚苯乙烯泡沫(EPS)为芯材的不同厚度的结构保温板(Structural Insulated Panels,SIPs)进行抗拉、抗压和双剪切力学试验,得到SIPs中不同厚度EPS芯材的抗拉、抗压和抗剪强度,应力应变曲线和弹性模量。得到以下结论:厚度对SIPs中EPS芯材的抗拉强度影响不显著,厚度的增加对抗压强度有一定加强作用,对抗剪强度有一定减弱作用,不同厚度试件在双剪切破坏时所受弯矩基本相同。 Tensile, compressive and double shear experimental tests are calculated on Oriented Stranded Board (OSB)skinned and expanded polystyrene (EPS)cored Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs)with various thicknesses, and mechanical properties, stress-strain curves and elasticity modulus of the core are achieved. The results are analyzed and discussed. It is found that tensile strength will not be affected by the thickness, compressive strength will be enhanced while shear strength will be weakened as thickness increases ,and the failure bending moments of the specimens with different thicknesses under double shear action are almost the same.
