依托长江黄金水道,推动长江经济带发展,打造中国经济新支撑带,是党中央、国务院把握国内外发展大势作出的重大战略决策,对于有效扩大内需、促进经济稳定增长、调整区域结构、实现中国经济转型升级,具有十分重要的意义。交通运输部认真贯彻落实党中央、国务院决策部署,按照长江经济带综合立体交通走廊规划,加快打造长江黄金水道,强化集疏运体系,提升通道运输能力,扩大交通网络规模,优化交通运输结构,加快建成现代化综合立体交通走廊,为建设中国经济新支撑带提供有力保障。
To develop Y angtze econom ic belt to promote China's economic growth along thegolden waterway of the Yangtze River is a major strategic decision made by the Party Central Committee and the State Council following the current trend of economic development at home and abroad. It is of vital importance to effectively expand domestic demand, promote economic steady growth, adjust regional structure and achieve China economic transformation and upgrading. To implement the strategic decision of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, the Ministry of Transport, based on integrated transport corridor program along the Yangtze economicbelt,is doubling its efforts to accelerate the development of golden waterway along the Yangtze River,strengthen the transshipment and distribution system, improve transport capacity, expand thescale of traffic network, optimize the traffic structure, and speed up the construction of the modern integrated transport corridor,so as to provide strong impetus in building China's new economic supportbelt.
