摘要
20世纪以来,哥伦比亚大学的中国文学选本基本能够不断克服意识形态的桎梏,坚持客观地看待中国现代文学的发展,将中国现代优秀的文学作品介绍给西方的学生和广大读者。选本的历史嬗变中,从最初"我们"的迎合到后来"他们"的排斥,再到今天双方的理解和认可,勾勒出一条中国现代文学被美国知识分子接受和传播的路径。同时,哥大选本也为中国现代文学提供了一幅世界视野中的西方镜像,在这个镜像的流变中,我们得以观察美国学界对中国现代文学经典的选择与重构。
Ab Since the 20th century, Columbia university press can overcome the ideological shackles and obiectively introduces Chinese modern literature to western students and readers. The gap has undergone a historical narrowing towards mutual understandings. This symbolizes a path of how modern Chinese literature can reach American intellectuals. At the same time, the Columbia university press provides with a mirror of images with which Chinese can observe the choice and reconstruction made by American academia about modern Chinese literature.
