65%。 This study aims to probe into the effect of teacher-related factors on students' reading ability,by surveying a total of 1053 fourth-grade primary school students in Fujian Province with the Reading Ability Test and the Questionnaire on the Factors Influencing Students' Reading Ability devised by the Research Institute of Educational statistics and Measurement,Beijing Normal University, and use the structural equation model to study the relationship between teacher-related factors, students' reading engagement and their reading ability. The results show the following: the teacher-related factors have a significantly positive effect on the students' reading ability and reading engagement; the students' reading engagement has a significantly positive effect on their reading ability; their reading engagement partially mediates between the teacher-related factors and their reading ability.
