摘要
通过问卷在我国10所高校的300名大学英语教师中就教师自主现状进行了调查,对不同教龄、职称、学历、办学层次学校教师的自主水平状况及其特点进行了对比分析。结果发现:我国大学英语教师的总体自主水平一般,在职称、学历、学校办学层次上呈显著差异,而在教龄上无显著差异。基于此,文章进一步提出了以价值理性取代工具理性、赋权增能于教师、建立教师学习共同体、提高师资素质等相关建议。
This paper reports a comparative study of college English teachers' autonomy in Shanghai and Zhejiang Province, involving 300 English teachers with different lengths of teaching, professional titles and academic degrees from 10 colleges and universities. Results of the study indicate that: teachers' autonomy varies with their lengths of teaching,professional titles and the education level of the colleges concerned. Besides, suggestions like advocating a value-based attitude, empowering teachers, establishing cooperative groups among teachers and enhancing teachers' expertise are provided to develop college teachers' autonomy.
