Objective To investigate the rhythmic visual stimulation on gait in patients with parkinson disease pa- tients. Methods Fifty-eight patients with parkinson disease were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 29 cases in each group. The two groups were treated with conventional anti parkinson disease drugs for four weeks. In addition, the observation group was given the rhythmic visual stimulation training in accordance with the requirements of the patient to walk on the ground fixed color band as rhythmic visual stimulation for four weeks. The two groups subjects were proceeded gait tests by the motion analysis system in pre-training and four weeks after training. And the part Ⅱ and Ⅲ of comprehensive parkinson disease rating scale( UPDRS), berg balance scale(BBS) score and 6 min walk test were carried out to test the patients. Results After treatment for one course, the stride length, UPDRS score of part Ⅱ ,UPDRS score of part Ⅲ and BBS score in observation group had a significant difference compared with the observation group before treatment( P 〈 0. 05 ). While the UPDRS score of m part and BBS score of the observation group after treatment for one course had a significant difference compared with the control group (P 〈 0.05 ). Conclusion Rhythmic visual stimulation training can help to improve the motor function and balanced ability of Parkinson disease patients.
