摘要
北京地铁不仅承担着交通运输的重任,还是进行国际性对外交流的窗口,地铁中的站名,更是起着"门楣"的作用。然而目前北京地铁站名的英译中依然存在不少问题。本文通过实地走访调查的形式,对目前英译站名不规范的现象作了相应分析,以期引起人们的重视,推进译名规范化的道路。
Beijing subway serves as an essential means in public transportation as well as international communication. The names, especially the English names of subway stations play an even more important role in people＇s everyday life. However, certain problems do exist in the English translations of Beijing subway names. This paper analyzes the mistakes involved through field investigation and suggests count should be taken to address the problems
