China has been committed to intangible cultural heritage protection for over a decade, and the research in this sector is of great importance. There's been no absence of systematic theories on protection of cultural heritage and resources, but there's hardly close firsthand observation and analysis of the life and work on the spot. This paper has used field investigation, approach from the anthropology of art, to collect firsthand information about the inheritors of Jingdezhen's intangible cultural heritage through face-to-face communications with them. It analyzes their knowledge structure and inheritance modes, and proposes strategies for the transmission of Jingdezhen's intangible cultural heritage.
