摘要
利用氩气/空气混合气体辉光放电对聚乙烯(PE)材料表面改性。主要研究了单一气体等离子体和混合气体等离子体对PE膜表面改性的影响,通过蒸馏水的接触角测量和二碘甲烷的接触角测量对处理前后的PE膜表面性质进行表征,对PE膜表面能的变化进行了分析。实验结果表明,经辉光放电等离子体处理过的PE膜表面的液体接触角显著下降,固体表面能有明显提高,在固定的电压和气压下,PE膜表面水接触角随着氩气/空气混合比例的增大而先减小后增大,说明辉光放电比丝状放电在提高聚乙烯材料润湿性方面效果要好。处理后的样品放置在空气当中后,样品表面水接触角有所增大,但始终小于处理前的接触角。
The surfaces of polythene (PE) membranes were modified by glow discharge in argon/air plasma. The effects of the glow discharge conditions, including but not limited to the ratio of argon/air flow rates, pressure, discharge voltage and discharge time, on the wettability of PE membranes were investigated. The results show that depending on the ratio of Ar/air flow rates, the glow discharge considerably improved the wettability of PE membranes. For example, as the ratio increased, the water contact angle of PE membranes changed in a decrease-increase mode, accompanied by an increase of surface energy. When it comes to the transition of PE membrane from hydrophobility to hydrophilicity by surface modification, the glow discharge outperforms filament discharge. Decreased with storage time, the hydrophilicity of the modified PE membrane remains to be higher than that of the control sample.
