摘要
研究美国华裔作品必然要了解林露德,《木鱼歌》是其最精彩的一部作品。通过这本小说,笔者发现历史文化暴力影响着如吕金功一样的美国华人,在这些暴力冲击下,他们缺失家庭关怀、社会关怀、个人关怀等,步入了患有失语症的悲剧的边缘人生轨迹。
Wooden Fish Songs is the best novel that Ruthanne Lum McCun writes. Through this novel, I find that historical and cultural violence have a deep effect on Chinese American like Lue Gim Gong. Under the violence, they lost the caring from family, society and person which lead their losing words and go to the edge life.
