摘要
晚清时期,清廷被迫打开国门,外交事务激增,培养忠于朝廷的本土翻译人才成了亟待解决的事宜。鉴于此,洋务派提出明确的翻译政策,促成了京师同文馆的诞生,形成了近代中国较为系统的翻译人才培养模式雏形。本文采用历史研究法和描述法,探讨翻译政策与翻译活动和译者培养之间的关联,揭示了官方翻译政策对译员培养的重要影响,启发现代译员培养模式的探索。对当今中国的翻译教学的模式、内容和目标具有积极意义。
In the late Qing period,China was forced to develop relations with the foreign powers, which gave sharp rise in diplomatic affairs.There emerged the urgent demand for Chinese translators and interpreters loyal to the imperial court.Therefore,Westernization Group put forward speciifc translation policy to bring about the birth of Imperial Tung-Wen College,and helped develop the pioneering translator and interpreter education patterns in early modern China.By means of historical method and descriptive approach,this paper explores the influence of ofifcial translation policy upon translating activities and translators training,which still can bring insights into the translator and interpreter training program.
