摘要
系统检验金融危机下董事会的异质性和断裂带对中国银行风险承担的影响,以及董事长和CEO两职合一的调节作用,结果发现:董事会年龄异质性、教育异质性同银行风险承担显著负相关,弱的董事会断裂带同银行风险承担显著负相关,而性别、民族、职业经历以及董事任职经历异质性与银行风险承担没有显著相关性;董事长和CEO两职合一对董事会性别异质性、教育异质性与银行风险承担之间的关系有显著负向调节作用,对董事会断裂带与银行风险承担没有显著调节作用。
Under the background of financial crisis, the paper systematically tests the effect of hetero- geneity and faultlines of the board on the risk-taking of banks in China, and verifies the moderating role of the Chairman-CEO duality. The empirical analysis indicates that there is significant negative relationship be- tween age heterogeneity, educational heterogeneity and the bank risk-taking, there is also significant nega- tive relationship between the faultlines of the board and bank risk-taking, but the correlation between the heterogeneity of gender, national, professional experience, professional experience on board and bank risk- taking is insignificant. Furthermore, the Chairman-CEO duality have moderator role between heterogeneity of the board and bank risk-taking partly, but have no moderating role between faultlines of the board and bank risk-taking.
