丙烯酸乳液增稠剂的合成及其流变性能 被引量:3

摘要 采用预乳化种子半连续乳液聚合法,将烷基聚氧乙烯基醚甲基丙烯酸酯功能单体(FM)与甲基丙烯酸(MAA)、丙烯酸乙酯(EA)、邻苯二甲酸二烯丙酯(DAP)进行乳液共聚,得到一种初始粘度很低的,粒径分布均一的乳液型增稠剂。重点考察了功能单体用量、交联剂类型及用量、甲基丙烯酸用量等因素对增稠性能的影响,并进一步研究了该增稠剂对氯丁乳液的流变性能的影响。结果表明,功能单体的引入能够显著提高乳液的增稠性能,当DAP用量占共聚单体质量的0.4 wt%,MAA用量占共聚单体35 wt%时,乳液具有较优的增稠性能。该增稠剂对氯丁乳液有明显的增稠作用,能显著改善其触变性能,显示出该增稠剂在水性涂料、油墨、胶黏剂以及化妆品等领域良好的应用前景。 The emulsion thickeners with a low original viscosity and high homogeneous particle size, were prepared by seed semi-continuous emulsion copolymerization with alkylpolyoxyethylene methacrylate functional monomer(FM), methacrylic acid(MAA), ethyl acrylate(EA) and diallyl phthalate(DAP). Effects of various factors, such as functional monomer content, types and content of cross-linker, and MAA content, on the properties of thickener were studied. The results demonstrated that the viscosity and thixotropy of acrylic acid emulsion copolymers with the functional monomer were enhanced obviously. The best thickening performance was obtained for emulsion copolymers with 0.4 wt% DAP and 35 wt%MAA. Meanwhile, this emulsion copolymer can significantly thicken the chlorobutadiene emulsion and improve its thixotropy. The results indicate that this thickener has great application prospect in water-borne coating, printing ink, adhesives and cosmetics, etc.
