摘要
汉语动宾复合词的生成机制一直是汉语生成语法学者关心的问题。本文在分布式形态学框架下,采用句法论观点,通过对语类特征未定的词根进行合并及并入操作,生成汉语OVX型动宾合成复合词;对由回环或由模式联体记忆而形成的词根进行合并操作,生成VOX型动宾派生词或基础复合词。由此,汉语动宾复合词可以由句法方式推导而生成,这对解决有关语言起源的"达尔文难题"具有一定的启示意义。
The construction of VO/OV-compounds in Chinese has long been a hot topic for Chinese generative scholars.Within the framework of Distributed Morphology(DM),this paper,adopting the syntactic approach,proposes that OV-compounds are incorporation structures,where non-head nouns are incorporated into the acategorial verbal root before the resultant complex root is merged with a categorizing element.We also agree that VO-compounds are formed by merging a looped or memorized root with an element which assigns categorial features.Therefore,the VO/OV compounds can be generated under syntactic rules,which we believe is of insightful significance to resolve the'Darwin's Problem'.
