摘要
人类左、右半球在结构和功能上的非对称性(Asymmetry)或偏侧化(Lateralization)进化使人类左半球成为优势半球。脑的偏侧化进化使人类不仅具有右利手现象和左半球语言功能优势,同时也使人类出现视-听注意偏向(Attentional bias)现象,即左侧视野优势、左耳音调识别优势和右耳语义识别优势。现代遗传学与生物进化研究认为,人脑功能偏侧化是基因与环境相互作用的结果。脑非对称性假说与气机"左升右降"的中医基础理论不谋而合,中医理论认为人体气机运动是阳从左升、阴从右降。人体功能偏侧化是"天人相应"的结果,如《黄帝内经》所言"天不足西北,故西北方阴也,而人右耳目不如左明也。地不满东南,故东南方阳也,而人左手足不如右强也"。本文拟从生物进化与功能偏侧化的角度,探讨中医气机升降理论与脑功能偏侧性假说可能存在的同一性及其科学性,为揭示中医气机升降机理探索新的研究途径。
The left hemisphere( LH) known as dominant hemisphere hasadvantages of function andstructure on the right hemisphere( RH) in human. Corresponding tothe hemisphere asymmetry or lateralizationevolution,the right hand was developed todextromanuality,and LH was evoluted to functional advantages of language. Moreover,audio-visual attentional bias inclouding left-visual-fieldadvantage,tone perception with left ear advantage andsemanticrecognition with righr ear advantage,related tohemisphere asymmetry. The studies of modern genetics and biological evolution suggested that the human brain functionlateralization was the result of the interaction between genes and environment. Cerebral asymmetry hypothesis happened to coincide with traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) basic theory of "Qi activity left ascending/right descending". In TCM theory,Qi activitywas Yang Qiascending from the leftbody and Yin Qi descending from the right. Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic emphasized that heaven( Yang) is insufficient in northwest causing northwest to be Yin,and the right of ear and eye are not more sensitive than the left. Earth( Yin) is not full of Yin in southeast causing southeast to be Yang,and the left hand and foot are not stonger than the right. The article will discuse the possible existence of identity and its scientificity of between Qi activity ascending / descending and cerebral asymmetry hypothesis. To open up a new approach for revealingthe mechanism of "Qi activity ascending / descending"in TMC theory.
