摘要
糖原合成酶激酶-3(GSK-3)是一种丝氨酸/苏氨酸蛋白激酶,有两种亚型,即GSK-3α和GSK-3β。GSK-3的活性受磷酸化和非磷酸化机制调节,可以磷酸化多种蛋白质,参与细胞分化、凋亡等多种生理过程的调节。GSK-3与脑缺血、阿尔茨海默病及其他神经精神疾病的发生都有关。
Glycogen synthase kinase-3(GSK-3) is a serine/threonine kinase,with two distinct forms termed GSK-3α and GSK-3β.Its activation is regulated by both phosphorylation and nonphosphorylation mechanisms.GSK-3 is implicated in the regulation of many physiological responses in mammalian cells by phosphorylating substrates.GSK-3 has been found involved in various neurologic diseases such as cerebral ischemia,Alzheimer's disease.
