Research on Friction Stir Welding of Dissimilar Metals of Stainless Steel and Aluminum Alloy

摘要 采用单面对接焊,进行了建筑用304L不锈钢与5083铝合金的异质搅拌摩擦焊试验,并进行了宏观形貌、X光无损探伤、显微组织和力学性能的测试与分析。结果表明,异质搅拌摩擦焊接头的室温抗拉强度达248 MPa,分别是5083铝合金和304L不锈钢母材室温抗拉强度的92%、47%;接头的室温伸长率达11%,分别是5083铝合金和304L不锈钢母材室温伸长率的92%、26%。 Single-sided butt welding was applied for having friction stir welding experiment of dissimilar metals of 304L stainless steel and 5083 aluminum alloy in construction, and the tests of the macroscopic morphology, X-ray nondestructive testing, the microstructure and mechanical properties were conducted. The results show that the tensile strength of dissimilar fi'iction stir welding joint at room temperature arrives at 248MPa, which is 92% of the tensile strength of 5083 aluminum alloy and 47% of the tensile strength of 304L stainless steel base material, respectively. The room temperature elongation of the welded joint reaches 11%, which is 92% of 5083 aluminum alloy and 26% of 304L stainless steel base material, respectively.
