人端粒酶逆转录酶与肿瘤相关性的研究进展

摘要 1938年,Hermann Muller通过X射线照射果蝇产生突变体,发现了染色体末端的特殊结构并命名为端粒(telomere)。端粒是真核细胞染色体的末端物质。它作为一种保护性的结构单位,在维持染色体稳定性中起着重要的作用。人类的端粒由TTAGGG重复序列构成,长度大约2~15 kb[1]。端粒在染色体末端形成T环,不但可以防止染色体重排和末端融合,而且可以保护编码DNA序列,防止DNA在复制中丢失,起到了维持染色体稳定性的作用。
