摘要
信息技术带来了知识的大爆炸,但同时也产生了新的道德困境——"数字鸿沟"的出现与扩大。学校教育中的"数字鸿沟"一方面体现在不同群体学生接触信息技术水平方面的差异,另一方面则体现在不同群体学生运用信息技术能力与水平的差异。尽管学校教育中"数字鸿沟"的产生主要是由信息技术在教育体系外的拥有和使用决定的,但许多研究者认为,学校和其他教育机构可以扮演一个具有补偿作用的均衡者角色。应对"数字鸿沟"所带来的新的教育不公平,学校首先应作为基础作用的均衡者——确保为所有群体学生提供获取信息技术的必要途径,但更为重要的是,学校应作为关键作用的均衡者——超越对信息技术使用技能的过度追求,引导学生充分利用信息技术拓展自身能力,并获得自身所需的信息资源。
Information technology has brought about the knowledge explosion, but at the same time produced the new moral plight: appearance and expansion of digital gap. The digital gap in school education lies in, on the one hand, the differences of different groups of students' level of approaching information technology, and on the other hand, the differences of different groups of students' level and capacity of using information technology. Although the digital gap in school education is mainly determined by the possession and application of information technology outside school system, many researchers hold the view that schools and other educational organizations can play a balancing role of compensation. To respond to the new inequality in education brought about by information technology, schools should at first play their fundamental role of balancer: ensuring the provision of necessary channels of obtaining information technology for all groups of students,but most importantly, schools should play their critical role of balancer: transcending the excessive pursuit of using information technology to direct students to expand their own ability and acquire the needed information resources by making full use of information technology.
