摘要
《测量备要》是清末科学家邹伯奇从未面世的科学论著珍贵遗稿,论及运用经纬法绘制地图的原理和方法,由"备物致用"与"按度考数"构成,具体内容于2009年邹伯奇诞辰190周年之际出版的《邹伯奇遗稿》一书为世人所知,展现了邹伯奇在地图测绘研究上的杰出贡献:阐释经纬测绘地图的基本原理和方法,并用之于绘图实践;论证地图投影中的正射投影、球心投影和球面投影等3种透视方位投影;运用地球椭球扁率,精确计算经纬线弧长,乃中国首创、国际领先;揭示摄影测量原理,为以摄影之器测绘地图奠定理论基础.
CE LIANG BEI YAO ( the Essential Classics of Measurement) is the precious posthumous scientific manuscript of the late Qing Dynasty scientist ZOU Bo-qi, which has never been published. It is constitutive of "BEI WU ZHI YONG" ( preparation of objects for utilization) and "AN DU KAO SHU" ( accurate measure- merits made according to the degrees) , discussing the principle and method of using the longitude and latitude method to draw maps. The details are known to the world by Posthumous Manuscript ofZOU Bo-qi, which was published in 2009, the 190 anniversary of the birth of ZOU Bo-qi and show the outstanding contribution of ZOU Bo-qi in mapping studies. Firstly, it describes the basic principle and method of the longitude and latitude method and its application practice of this method in mapping. Secondly, it demonstrates three kinds of perspec- tive azimuthal projection including orthographic projection, gnomonic projection and spherical projection in map projection. ZOU Bo-qi used the flattening of the earth ellipsoid to calculate the arc length of longitude and lati- tude, which was firstly initiated in China and reached international advanced level. Last but not least, it reveals the principle of photogrammetry, establishing the theoretical basis for applying the photographic device to draw- ing maps, etc.
