Purpose: To study detection effect of 16 spiral CT with low dose scanning in active pulmonary tuberculo- sis. Materials and Methods: 130 Cases of active pulmonary tuberculosis patients were selected as the object of study, and 130 patients were treated by conventional scanning and then low dose scanning. CT scanning effect and dose of conventional dose group and low dose group were compared. Results: No significant differences between scan image quality of the two group were found ( P 〉 0.05 ) ; and no significant differences were found between thin slice reconstruction image quality of the two groups (P 〉0. 05) ; The scanning imaging, thin slice reconstruction image of two groups were of no significant difference ( P 〉 0. 05 ). The observation group ED, DLP and CTDIvol were significantly lower than those in the control group ( P 〈 0. 01 ). The observation group's scanning radiation dose was significantly lower than the control group (P 〈 0. 01 ). Conclusion: Low dose spiral CT for the review of active pulmonary tuberculosis, can obtaining inspection results like conventional dose close, and effectively reduce the radiation dose in CT scanning. Therefore, to improve the security of pulmonary tuberculosis review, save examination cost.
