摘要
始建于1954年的水上区是上海市一个特别的行政区域。数以万计的人散居"水上",谋生于都市港汊之间。整个1950年代,上海市对水上居民基本持"疏散"的政策。尤其在1955—1956年的城市"紧缩"中,大批水上居民以"回乡生产"、"移民垦荒"等方式被疏散至全国各地。上海市政府终将昔日繁忙而混乱的"水上"纳入统一的市政管理之下。
Waterborne area,built in 1954,was a unique administrative area of Shanghai. Thousands of people lived in scattered way on the water,earning a living between the city and harbor. During the whole 1950 s,the government of Shanghai took an attitude of evacuation towards the boat dwellers. Especially during the city compressing from 1955 to 1956,a legion of boat dwellers were evacuated to many regions all over the country in the way of returning hometown or immigrating and reclaiming wasteland. The government took the waterborne area,once prosperous and chaotic,under the unified management.
