摘要
为改善公共图书馆阅读空间、弭平城乡服务及资讯落差、培养民众阅读习惯与素养等目标,台湾地区实行了公共图书馆"阅读推广与馆藏充实实施计划",该计划发展至今由3个辅助项目组成,阅读起步走:婴幼儿阅读推广活动计划、多元阅读与馆藏充实计划、本土语言阅读推广计划。这些项目使公共图书馆在拥书量、借阅数、办证率、借阅率及购书费5大方面成效显著,不仅提升了民众参与率与阅读率,全台县市图书馆投入的人力与经费亦相当多。
In order to improve the reading space in the public library, reduce the service and information gap between the town and the country, and cultivate the people’s reading habit and the literacy, and so on, Taiwan Region has carried out the ’’implementation plan of the reading promotion and the collection enrichment in the public library’’, the plan has 3 auxiliary projects, bookstart： the infant reading promotion activity plan, the multi variate reading and collection enrichment programme, and the native language reading promotion plan. By these projects, the public library has achieved the remarkable success in the amount of having the book, the borrowing number, the rate of handling the reader’s card, the lending rate and book fees, these projects not only increase the public participation rate and the reading rate, but also promote the human resource and funds of the Taiwan library.
