摘要
民国时期,图书馆学家马宗荣发表了一系列图书馆管理学方面的论著,对现代图书馆管理学的学科发展起到了开拓作用,主要体现在图书馆"经营管理"概念的较早提出、图书馆管理学学科体系的初步构建、现代图书馆管理学若干原则的提出、图书馆各项工作管理事务的详细阐述以及对当时世界上先进图书馆管理经验的及时借鉴等若干方面。这些贡献使马氏成为中国图书馆管理学的重要奠基者之一。
During the Republic of China, library scientist Ma Zongrong published a series of works on the science of library management, which played a pioneering role on the development of modern library management. It is embodied in the following aspects： to propose the concept of library management earlier, to built library management discipline system initially, to put forward several principles and the details of the affairs of modern library management, to learn the advanced management experience from the Western countries, and so on. These contributions enable him to be one of founders of China library management.
