摘要
春秋时期,"头痛"作为主谓短语出现,表示"头部疼痛"的意思。宋代,"头痛"从主谓短语中分化出表示感到为难或讨厌的意思,其中"头"的指称义由有指变为无指,"头痛"开始词汇化。明代,"头痛",开始变为一个形容词,清末民初,形容词"头痛"的用例开始大量出现,并与主谓短语"头痛"一起沿用至今。
In Chun Qiu Period, "headache" appeared as the subject -predicate phrase, indicating the meaning of head pain. In Song Dynasty, "headache" differentiated from the subject - predicate phrase indicating the feeling of embarrassment or disgust, in which the referential semantics of "head" changed from being referen- tial to not referential, and therefore the "headache" started lexicalizing. In Ming Dynasty, the "headache" turned to be an adjective. In the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, there were lots of cases in using "headache" as adjective, and "headache" as the adjective has been used together with its subject -predicate phrase till today.
