摘要
本文论述了自大食第一次遣使赴唐至怛逻斯之战后唐朝与大食对于中亚"过渡地带"的争夺经过,指出怛逻斯之战本身虽具有一定的偶然性,但也是唐朝与大食长期争夺"过渡地带"的必然结果。认为怛逻斯之战爆发的根本原因在于唐与大食同时强势进军中亚"过渡地带",打破了双方一百年来在"过渡地带"中势力均衡的局面。而怛逻斯之战后,由于双方在"过渡地带"内的势力均衡局面重新恢复,因此得以保持友好往来的关系。
This research discusses the contention between Tang Dynasty and Dashi for the transition zone in central Asia from the first time that Dashi dispatched envoys to Tang Dynasty to the end of Battle of Talas, which shows that even though the outbreak of Battle of Talas had some contingency, it was the inevitable result of the contention between Tang Dynasty and Dashi for the transition zone. Furthermore, the basic reason for Battle of Talas was the unbalanced power in the transition zone which was caused by Tang Dynasty and Dashi when they attacked the transition zone in central Asia af ter 100 years＇ balanced status. However, since both Tang Dynasty and Dashi weakened after Battle of Talas, the power of them turned into balance. Therefore, the friendly relationship was retrieved.
