摘要
批判性思维(Critical Thinking)并非新兴概念,但时至今日,中西教育领域仍在对其进行广泛讨论。批判性思维的养成有益于大学生理性思维能力与创新思维能力的发展。但很多研究表明,与西方大学生相比,中国大学生在批判性思维方面表现明显较弱。本文中,作者首先对批判性思维的定义进行了简要介绍,之后从三个方面强调了批判性思维对于大学生培养的重要性,而后重点探寻了中国大学生批判性思维能力较弱的原因,包括中国文化与教育两方面的各种因素。最后作者提出了三点大学生批判性思维培养的建议。
As an important concept in the field of education nowadays, critical thinking is growing in popularity in both West and East. The cultivation of critical thinking ability of university students is considered to be beneficial for their development of rational and innovative thinking. However, according to several studies, Chinese university students showed weaker critical thinking ability than Western learners. In this essay, the author will define the term, emphasize the importance of critical thinking, and then investigate the reasons of this phenomenon and explore some possible solutions.
