摘要
在陶行知的教育思想中,民主教育与其思想整体是何种关系,这一追问要求重新审视传统的解读范式。从经验事实看,如何探索中国教育的新路并建设民主国家是陶行知的核心关照。从思想逻辑看,民主教育与陶行知教育思想的整体密不可分,这表现在对教育基本问题的回答中。陶行知倡导的平民教育、生活教育、创造教育、解放教育都贯穿着民主教育这一核心理念,民主教育构成陶行知教育思想的内核,只有从这一视角切入才能理解其真谛。
What is the relationship between Tao's theory on democracy education and his educational thought as a whole? To answer this question requires a re-examination of the traditional interpretation paradigm. From the factual point of view, Tao's focused concern is exploring new ways of education, based on China's realities, to build a democratic country. From the ideological point of view, democracy education is integral to his educational thought, which is reflected in the answers to the basic questions in education. The key idea of democracy education runs throughout his theory on civilian edu- cation, life education, creative education, and liberating education. Democracy education is at the core of Tao's educational thought, so it is the only proper start point for understanding the essence of his thoughts.
