摘要
吐鲁番出土文书中常见"■"字,关于其释义和字形,历来众说不一。揆诸图片,"■"之左旁既可为"言",也可为"氵";结合文书上下文,"渠破水",如果将""字解释作"责备惩罚",文意不通。其实,"■"的正字当为"濄",意为"水溢",即"漫溢"义。
A reexamination of the graph and detailed textual research ot qupo-snmguo （渠破水[言過]）suggests that the common word ＂[言過]＂ （guo, blaming and penalizing） in the book Turpan Manuscripts should be explained as ＂[ミ＋過]＂ （guo, overflowing）, though different people have different ideas about its interpretation and structural form. Since the left structural part of the word can be written as both ＂言＂ and ＂ ミ＂ it can be confirmed that the proper structural form of this word should be ＂guo[言過]＂ which means overflowing.
