摘要
互动导向是企业的关键性战略资源。现有研究显示,互动导向对企业绩效提升有显著的影响,但具体的影响机理并未得到揭示。本文整合互动导向、创新和资源基础观等理论视角,提出并检验创新能力在互动导向与企业创新绩效关系间的中介作用,以及拼凑对该中介模型的调节作用,从而阐释互动导向转化为创新绩效的机理。本研究利用转型升级背景下120份样本数据,使用多元回归对模型进行实证检验。结果显示,互动导向与创新绩效正相关,创新能力在互动导向与创新绩效的关系中起完全中介作用,表明创新能力是互动导向转化为创新绩效的重要路径。此外,拼凑对创新能力与创新绩效间的关系具有调节作用。研究结果提示,互动导向只有通过信息的有效吸收、筛选和转化才能确实提高创新绩效,这种关系对善于利用在手资源的企业更加显著。
As information technology is developing rapidly, interaction orientation has become an emerging issue in strategic management and marketing domain. Since research on this subject is still in its initial stage, extant studies mainly focus on the antecedents and performance outcome aspects. Theoretical and empirical researches on the relationship between interaction orientation and innovation need to be fiLrther established and developed. It is proposed that interaction orientation may significantly influence innovation with its highlight and expansion on the concept of customer interaction. Therefore, it calls for discussion to bridge the gap between marketing and innovation literatures from an interdisciplinary perspective. At the same time, it is assumed that interaction orientation can produce a large amount of information and data for firms to generate expectations and decisions from various alternatives. Hence, firms may encounter problems on resource configuration and application which may convey capabilities to transform interaction orientation into innovation outcome. Our study integrates the theoretical perspectives of interaction orientation, capability theory and bricolage, proposing and examining the mediating effect of innovation capability between interaction orientation and innovation performance together with the moderating effect of bri- colage towards this mediating effect. This model reveals the mechanism of the transformation process from interaction orientation to innovation performance. This study uses data from 120 cases under the context of industrial transformation and upgrade from the logistics industry in order to empirically verify the theoretical model by applying multivariate re- gression method. The result shows that interaction orientation is positive- ly correlated to innovation performance and interaction capability shows a complete mediating effect between innovation orientation and innova- tion performance, indicating that innovation capability is the key path of transformation from interaction orientation to innovation performance. Besides, bricolage can moderate the correlation of interaction capability and innovation performance. It indicates that only through effective ab- sorption, processing and transformation of information can interaction orientation promote innovation performance. In addition, such relation- ship is even more significant for firms with higher bricolage.
