Objective To explore the effect of PDCA cycle based functional exercise on postoperative patients with cerebral hemorrhage. Methods A total of 100 postoperative patients with cerebral hemorrhage were selected and randomized into two groups. The control group received routine functional exercise, while the intervention group received the functional exercise based on PDCA cycle.Compliance of functional exercise of the two groups were compared before discharge. The Fugl-Myer Assessment scale(FMA)was utilized to measure and compare patients′functional status at four time points:before intervention,10 th day,20 th day after intervention and before discharge. Results Compared with the control group, compliance of functional exercise in the intervention group was higher(P〈0.01);the FMA score at 10 th day,20 th day after intervention and before discharge were higher(P〈0.05,P〈0.01),the FMA score in the intervention group increased over time. Conclusion PDCA cycle based functional exercise promotes the compliance of functional exercise, and improves the rehabilitation of motor function for postoperative patients with cerebral hemorrhage.
