摘要
LDPC(Low-density Parity-check)分层译码算法能有效降低硬件复杂度并且显著减少译码迭代次数,因而被广泛应用于LDPC译码器设计.为了提高译码器性能,该算法根据可靠度大小对校验节点进行有序更新,同时把信息节点对数似然比绝对值的最小值与次小值的和作为可靠度判定方法.基于中国移动多媒体广播标准1/2码率的LDPC码对一般分层算法和改进的分层算法进行对比仿真,结果表明:在相同误比特率条件下,该译码算法的性能提高了近0.4dB,收敛速度明显加快.
LDPC layered decoding algorithm can effectively reduce the hardware complexity and significantly reduce the decoding iterations,which has been widely used in the LDPC decoder design.In order to improve decoder performance,check nodes updated in order according to the reliability in this algorithm.Meanwhile,the sum of the absolute value of information nodes log likelihood ratio minimum and second minimum is used to judge the reliability.Based on china mobile multimedia broadcasting standard 1/2 code rate LDPC codes,we simulate and compare the conventional layered decoding algorithm with the improved layered decoding algorithm.The result shows that:under the same bit error rate,the performance of the improved algorithm improves nearly 0.4dB and convergence speed speeds up obviously.
