摘要
17世纪初期的玄学派诗歌与20世纪的意象派诗歌在意象、修辞、语言等方面有颇多相似之处,其中尤以新奇的意象运用最为明显。在玄学派诗歌与意象派诗歌中,诗人们通过对单个意象的运用或意象重叠、意象递进、意象并置,力求使其意象达到奇特、简练的特点,从而准确传达诗人强烈的情感。
The metaphysical poetry in the early 17th century and the imagist poetry in the 20th century have similarities in image, figure of speech, language, and so on, and the most obvious one is their use of image. Both of them try to make image novel and concise to express the poets' strong feeling accurately by the single image, overlapping of images, advance of images, and juxtaposition of images.
