摘要
采用硬度计、光学显微镜、扫描电镜及能谱仪等手段对40Mn钢链片断裂原因进行了研究,并提出了改进措施。结果表明,40Mn钢链片断裂的原因为链片基体内存在大量非金属夹杂物、热轧原板带状组织严重、链片表面脱碳及淬火冷速不足。针对40Mn钢链片断裂的不同原因,通过采取优化炼钢工艺、连铸工艺、淬火加热及冷却等措施,有效避免了链片的断裂,提高了链片的合格率。
Cause analysis on the fracture of 40Mn steel chain was carried out by means of hardness tester, optical microscopy, SEM and EDS, and the counter measures for the fracture was put forward. The results show that following causes leading to the fracture of the chain, i.e. the existence of a large number of non-metallic inclusions, serious banded structure in the hot-rolled plate, surface decarburizatiou and insufficient cooling rate during quenching process. And for different causes of the fractured steel chain, corresponding improvement measures such as optimizing steelmaking process, continuous casting, heating and cooling during the quenching process can be taken, which are effective to avoid the fracture chain and improve the percentage of pass.
