摘要
通过136个来自起点中文网的优秀小说样本数据,本文运用分层回归方法,探讨研究了目前影响网络小说成功的因素。研究结果表明,小说质量——评价得分的影响效用并不显著,而小说获得的推广资源,作者的更新情况,小说作者的粉丝数量,作者与读者的互动情况等要素对小说的成功即流行度产生了显著的影响。本文填补了网络小说领域实证研究的空白,分析验证了影响网络小说流行度的要素。
This study attempts to discover success factors that lead online novels to popularity. With the sample of 136 online novels from Qidian.com, this study utilize method of hierarchical regression and find these results. The quality, which is the rating score of a novel, does not have significant effects on its popularity. In the contrary, success factors as promotion, update index, number of followers, and the writer's interaction with readers all affect online novel's popularity. This study argues and tests influences of online novel's popularity, and fills the gap in empirical research on online novel.
