摘要
文章总结并评述近百年来对普洱茶的记述和研究状况。认为近百年来对普洱茶的记述和研究可以分为三个阶段。第一阶段从产地、名称界定、朝贡、贸易等方面梳理普洱茶的历史。第二阶段着重讨论普洱茶的文化和经济价值。第三阶段的研究将普洱茶置于全球化、市场化和现代化语境中,讨论种植普洱茶的群体利用普洱茶构建自己的身份和社会地位,并关注普洱茶的本真性问题。普洱茶作为经济作物、商品、礼物、贡品等的多重身份以及跨地域的流动,使它成为理解地方—国家、全球化—地方化、人—物的有效路径。
This paper makes a review of the records and research of Pu'er tea in the past 100 years. In brief, three stages can be identified : historical sort - out of the tea in terms of its origin, definition of the name, tributary and trade ; discussion of its cultural and economic value ; then in the third stage, the study of Pu'er tea is put under the context of globalization, marketiza- tion and modernization, where the tea planting groups use Pu'er tea to construct their identity and social status, and care about the inherent qualities of the tea. The multiple identities of Pu' er tea as economic crops, goods, gifts and tributes and its cross regional flow make it a valid path to understand the relations between the local and the state, between globalization and localiza- tion, and between human and matter.
