摘要
为了发展新型有机/无机复配阻燃剂,将芳基硼酸衍生物三(4,4′,4″-三硼酸-苯基)胺(3BzN-3B)与Mg(OH)2进行复配,以环氧树脂(EP)作为被阻燃体系,利用热重分析、锥形量热和扫描电镜等手段,研究了3BzN-3B/Mg(OH)2复配阻燃体系对EP的阻燃性能。研究发现,3BzN-3B/Mg(OH)2可以提高EP的残炭率。当用5%3BzN-3B/35%Mg(OH)2阻燃EP时,其极限氧指数达到31.9%,且垂直燃烧也达到了UL-94V-0等级。另外,3BzN-3B/Mg(OH)2还能够降低EP的热释放速率、热释放总量和烟释放总量。扫描电镜观察结果表明,经3BzN-3B/Mg(OH)2阻燃后的EP,其在燃烧后所形成炭层的表面致密,裂纹较少。
In order to develop novel compound flame retardant based on the organic and inorganic flame retardant,the aryl boric acid derivative tri(4,4′,4″-boric acid)phenylamine(3BzN-3B)and magnesium hydroxide(Mg(OH)2)were mixed.The flame retardation properties of epoxy resin(EP)with compound flame retardant3BzN-3B/Mg(OH)2were investigated through thermogravimetric analysis(TG),cone calorimeter and scanning electron microscope(SEM),etc.It is found that the char yield and limiting oxygen index of EP are increased when 3BzN-3B/Mg(OH)2is added into EP.The limiting oxygen index of EP with 5%3BzN-3B/35%Mg(OH)2is 31.9%.UL-94V-0burn result for EP with 5%3BzN-3B/35%Mg(OH)2is achieved.In addition,3BzN-3B/Mg(OH)2can reduce the heat release rate(HRR),total heat release(THR)and total smoke production(TSP)of the EP.The SEM micrographs of the residues indicate that the 3BzN-3B/Mg(OH)2can reduce the hole and crack of residue.
