摘要狄杰克所著的《渐深的鸿沟:信息社会中的不平等》突破了将数字鸿沟局限于技术设备接入差距的传统思维,重构了数字鸿沟理论,并分析了数字鸿沟的产生情境以及对社会参与的可能影响,提出了弥合数字鸿沟的政策建议。文章结合其他学者的研究成果,对该书进行较为全面的评价,并以此为基础讨论书中理论对未来的数字鸿沟研究及相关政策及实践的借鉴意义。 The Deepening Divide： Inequality in Information Society written by Van Dijk goes beyond the limitations of traditional thinking which simply attributes digital divide to the gap in digital instrument access, and reframes the digital divide theory. The book analyzes the external contexts of digital divide in depth and suggests some of its potential influence on social participation. After that, related suggestions on public policy are proposed. This book review comprehensively evaluates the book based on previous studies in relevant fields, and subsequently discusses the possible contributions of theories in this book to the future digital divide research and policy practice.
