摘要
设计了一种新颖的曲率传感器。将两个参数完全相同的绞合光纤段埋入结构的上、下表面,利用它们的微弯损耗随结构弯曲形变呈差动变化来实现检测。本文在传感理论方面作了详细阐述,并通过相关的实验和数值模拟分析证明了其传感检测机制的可行性。所设计的这种传感器具有便于填埋、结构简单、能区分弯曲方向等优点,非常适用于结构弯曲形变方面的测量。
A novel curvature sensor is designed. Detecting curvature is achieved by means of two same parameters twisted fiber segments which embedded in upper and lower surface of the structure and presents a differential change about microbend loss with bending deformation of the structure. This paper gives a detailed description on the sensing theory and demonstrates the feasibility of sensing mechanism through relevant experiments and numerical simulation a- nalysis. As fit for the landfill, simple structure and the ability of distinguishing the bending direction, the sensor is very suitable for measuring structure bending deformation.
