摘要
目的:考察人格特质对大学生锻炼动机的影响,验证情绪调节方式的中介效应。方法:采用大五人格量表、锻炼动机量表和情绪调节量表对866名大学生进行调查。结果:大学生人格特质对锻炼动机影响显著,其中,开放性、严谨性、宜人性、外向性对锻炼动机正向影响显著,神经质对锻炼动机负向影响显著;情绪调节方式对锻炼动机影响显著,其中,认知重评与锻炼动机正向影响显著,表达抑制对锻炼动机负向影响显著。回归分析表明,情绪调节方式各维度(认知重评和表达抑制)在人格特质解释锻炼动机时皆具部分中介效应。结论:大学生锻炼动机的差异可能源于个体独特的人格特质;认知重评在影响锻炼动机的效果上优于表达抑制;从认知上改变大学生对体育锻炼情绪事件的理解,同时,发展积极人格特质(开放性、宜人性、外向性、严谨性)、缓解神经质倾向,是促进大学生身心健康、激发大学生锻炼动机的一个有效策略。研究为制定大学生锻炼动机激励决策提供重要实践启示。
Objective: Explore the influence of personality traits on college students physical exercise motivation as well as the media- ting effect of emotion regulation. Methods: Used the NEO Five - Factor Inventory (NEO -FFI), Ryan's Measuring Physical Ac- tivity Motivation - Revised (MPAM--R), and Gross' s Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), this paper makes investigation on 866 college students of different age and gender (age = 19. 97±2. 633; male = 386, female = 480). Results: College students personality traits had significant influence on physical exercise motivation (p 〈 . 001 ), among them, Openness to experience, Con- scientiousness, Extraversion, and Agreeableness have the significant positive effect on exercise motivation, while the Neuroticism has a significant negative effect on it. College students emotion regulation had significant influence on physical exercise motivation ( p 〈 . 001), among them, Cognitive reappraisal has a significant positive effect on physical exercise motivation (β = . 435, F(1,864) = 100. 530), while Expression suppression has a significant negative effeet on it (β=- 214, F(1,864) =20. 737). Every dimen- sions of emotion regulation (cognitive reappraisal and Expression suppression) are both have the partial mediation effect at personali- ty traits explained exercise motivation. Conclusions: The differences of college students exercise motivation maybe attributed to their unique personality traits. The effect of Cognitive reappraisal on the effect of exercise motivation is better than that of Expression sup- pression- To change the understanding of emotional events of physical exercise from the cognition as well as develop the positive per- sonality traits ( Openness to experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, and Agreeableness) and relieve the neuroticism tendency is the effective strategies to promote college students physical and mental health and stimulate their exercise motivation. This re- search conclusion provides important practical implications for formulate college students physical exercise motivation incentive deci-sion.
