摘要
在分析、借鉴国内外ESP教材评价标准的基础上,根据中医药英语ESP教材和教学的特点,尝试制订评价该类教材的评价指标。对近十年国内出版的中医英语教材从教学目标、教学对象、教学内容、教学方法、练习设计和辅助材料六方面进行比较系统地分析和评价。在分析的基础上,指出中医英语教材建设中主要存在以下问题:定位不明确、英语语言知识与中医专业知识比例失衡、教材类型多为阅读和翻译,缺乏教学指导、练习形式单一、教学辅助材料不全等。提出今后中医英语教材的建设性意见,即教材编写应分层次、英语语言知识与中医专业知识相融合、练习形式多样化、完备教学辅助材料等,以完善中医英语教材建设,优化中医英语教学。
:On the basis of evaluation criteria of ESP teaching materials in China and abroad, this paper attempts to apply the predictive-evaluation criteria for the assessment of TCM English textbooks published in the past decade. The 15 chosen textbooks were analyzed from teaching objectives, contents, methods, exercise design and teacher's manual. The findings indicated the following problems in the design of these textbooks: inexplicit teaching objectives, improper proportion of linguistic knowledge and TCM knowledge, imbalanced exercise design, and inadequate or unavailable to teacher's manual. The paper also puts forward the corresponding solutions to the problems.
