摘要
消费主义是一种崇尚和追求享乐并将消费作为满足自我和实现人生目标的价值取向和生活方式,主张把物质消费看做是身份、地位的象征,通过对物质的无限占有来实现精神的满足。20世纪初消费主义成为美国具有重要影响的价值观念。随着中国改革开放及市场经济的发展,西方消费主义逐渐在中国传播开来,并冲击着我国青年的消费价值观。在西方消费主义思潮的影响下,大学生不可避免地出现了盲目高消费、攀比消费、超前消费等消费误区。因此必须重视消费主义给当代青年带来的影响,从多方面加强大学生的消费观教育。
Consumerism is a value orientation and lifestyle advocating and pursuing hedonism and using consumption to achieve self-satisfaction and self-realization. It takes material consumption as the symbol of identity and status, and realizes spiritual satisfaction through the endless pursuit of materials. At the beginning of the 20 thcentury, consumerism was the most influential values in America. With China's reform and opening up and development of market economy, Western consumerism has been gradually spread around China, conflicting Chinese young people's views on consumption. Affected by the trend of Western consumerism, university students blindly pursue high consumption, jealous consumption and excessive consumption. Therefore,we must attach importance to the influence of consumerism on contemporary young people and enhance the education of university students' views on consumption from multiple aspects.
