摘要
中国企业能否从对外直接投资的"学习效应"中获得生产率的提升?针对该问题,本文基于中国工业企业微观数据,采用倾向得分匹配方法检验2005-2007年我国企业对外直接投资的学习效应,并探讨了企业研发投入及投资区位对学习效应的影响。结果显示,我国企业对外直接投资的"学习效应"是存在的,并随着对外直接投资活动的持续,对外直接投资对生产率的提升效应越来越明显;相对于无研发投入的企业,持续研发企业对外直接投资的"学习效应"更加明显;企业投资区位选择为发达国家时,获取逆向技术溢出效应的可能性更大。
Can the productivity of Chinese companies improve with the learning effects of their outward foreign direct investment? Based on micro-data from China's industrial companies and the propensity score matching method, this article tests the learning effects of outward foreign direct investment on Chinese companies from 2005 to 2007 and discusses the influence of RD input and investment destinations on the learning effects. Results show that Chinese outward foreign direct investment leads to learning effects, and as the outward foreign direct investment activities continues, the effect of outward foreign direct investment on the growth of productivity becomes more and more significant. Relative to companies with no RD input, the learning effect from outward foreign direct investment from companies with continuous RD is more significant. Finally, investments in developed countries are more likely to result in reverse technology spillover effects.
