Objective To assess the clinical effects of multiple interventions for chemotherapeutic phlebitis using a network meta-analysis.Methods A systematic search of Chinese Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Chinese Sci-tech Periodical Full-text Database,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),Digital Journals of Chinese Medical Association,PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane Library, and EMBASE was carried out to identify all the randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that explored the effect of nursing interventions on chemotherapeutic phlebitis. The RCTs were screened according to the predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria.Data were analyzed using ADDIS1.16.5and WinBUGS 1.43 softwares, and the network plot was drawn using Stata software. Results Totally 32 randomized controlled trials were included, involving 12 interventions, covering 2555 patients.Aloe vera, hydrocolloid dressings,Ruyi golden powder, potato, corydalis mixture were significantly more effective than magnesium sulfate wet compressing.Among all the interventions, the corydalis mixture was the most effective, followed by aloe vera,Ruyi golden powder and hydrocolloid dressings. Conclusion The aloe vera, hydrocolloid dressings,Ruyi golden powder, potato and corydalis mixture are superior to magnesium sulfate wet compressing in treating chemotherapeutic phlebitis. The network meta-analysis can be used to compare the effect of multiple interventions in nursing.
