一种任意阻抗变换比集总宽带正交定向耦合器的分析方法 被引量:3

摘要 文章提出了一种实现任意阻抗变换比的集总参数宽带正交定向耦合器的分析及设计方法,通过定向耦合器的奇偶模分析,从链形散射矩阵角度出发,得到级联定向耦合器的任意阻抗变换比的元件参数解算公式。经先进设计系统(advanced design system,ADS)仿真验证,由参数解算公式得到的网络变换阻抗值和计算结果一致,并且级联的带宽比单级定向耦合器单元的带宽有显著提高。给出以2.45GHz为中心频点、阻抗变换比为4的设计实例,对分析方法进行了验证,测试结果与仿真结果吻合。由于使用的是集总参数型的元件,该耦合器输出阻抗可根据比例要求设定,具有小尺寸、大带宽、易于单片微波集成电路(monolithic microwave integrated circuit,MMIC)的集成等优点。 In this paper, an analysis and design method for the arbitrary impedance transformation ratio broadband lumped-element quadrature coupler is proposed. By the odd-even mode impedance analysis of the directional coupler, and in view of T-scattering matrix, a solution of arbitrary-impedance trans- formation ratio directional unit coupler is obtained and then the design formulas for arbitrary-imped- ance transformation ratio broadband lumped-element quadrature coupler are derived from cascading two directional unit couplers. The simulation results of advanced design system(ADS) coincide with the calculation results and the cascade coupler's bandwidth is much wider than that of the unit cou- pler. In order to further verify this method, an example with impedance transformation ratio of 4 and the center frequency of 2.45 GHz is designed and fabricated. The measurement and simulation results closely correspond to each other. With the lumped-element, the output impedance of this coupler can be set according to the ratio requirement and the coupler has advantages of small size, large band- width, easier integration with monolithic microwave integrated circuit(MMIC) and so on.
