摘要
高职高专实用英语口语大赛是全国职业院校技能大赛中唯一语言类的赛事，它对高职院校英语教学和改革具有重大的指导意义。针对口语大赛辅导中出现的选拔人才难、强化训练成效低、赛场表现失水准的情况，提出“以赛促教、以赛促学、以赛促改”的指导方针，用增加听说比例、引入新技术、加强通识教育和职业素质养成等方式来进行改革创新。
Practical English Speaking Contest for Vocational College Students, the only language-re- lated one among all the National Vocational Skill Competitions, is of great significance to English teaching and reform. With the guideline of competition-oriented initiatives, some strategies, including increasing proportion of speaking and listening, introducing new technologies, stressing general educa- tion and vocational skill training, are utilized to conquer the difficulties, like poor selection, training efficiency, contest result and so on.
