Effect of Die Parameters on Peak Value and Stable Value of Friction Stress of AZ31 Magnesium Alloy during ECAE Process

摘要 建立了不同模具外角半径、模具内角半径与不同摩擦因数条件下的AZ31镁合金等通道转角挤压有限元模型,分析了摩擦应力在整个挤压过程中的变化规律,研究了模具外角半径、模具内角半径及摩擦因数对ECAE挤压过程中摩擦应力变化曲线峰值与稳定值的影响。以AZ31镁合金为试验对象进行了挤压试验,对模拟结果进行了验证,并提出了减小摩擦应力提高挤压成功率的措施。结果表明,试样左侧摩擦应力最大值与试样右侧摩擦应力最大值随试样移动距离变化呈现出不同的变化特征。模具内角半径变化对试样右侧摩擦应力最大值变化曲线的峰值及稳定值有重要影响,而模具外角半径变化对试样左侧摩擦应力最大值变化曲线的峰值有重要影响。摩擦因数对摩擦应力变化曲线的峰值与稳定值均有重要影响。 The finite element models of equal channel angular extrusion(ECAE)with different outer corner radius,inner corner radius and friction coefficient were established to simulate the AZ31 magnesium alloy ECAE process.The characteristics of frictional stress during the whole ECAE process was obtained,and effects of outer corner radius,inner corner radius and frictional coefficient on the peak value and stable value of friction stress were investigated.The ECAE experiment was carried out with a commercial AZ31 magnesium alloy to verify the simulated ones.The method of reducing frictional stress and improving successful rate for ECAE process was also proposed.The results indicate that frictional stress on the left side of specimen and on the right side of specimen has different characteristics with the increase of the distance of specimen during ECAE process.The outer corner radius has a major effect on the peak value and stable value of the right side friction stress,while the inner corner radius has the a major effect on the peak value of the left side friction stress.The frictional coefficient has the major effect on both the peak value and stable value of friction stress curve.
