摘要
同为大学,处在我国边疆地区的大学(边疆大学)其实并无什么特别之处,而在于其基于地理的、经济的、政治的三重语境下所连带的"边缘身份"。而围绕这种身份所展开的两种内含冲突的社会文化叙事及其相应产生的两种话语模式——"跨越式发展"和"特色化办学",却又使边疆大学时常处于一种集体的焦虑和彷徨之中。边疆大学要化解这一困境,实现对自我的救赎,则需要从唤起其内部人群的主体意识开始着手,这样才能从中找到自信、发展的方向和活力。
Universities in the borderlands region in China have been triple marginalized,i. e.,marginalized geographically,economically and politically as well. Two different types of discourse patterns can be identified in social-cultural narratives of the unique identities of China's borderlands universities. One advocates ' leapfrogging development' for borderlands universities,while the other emphasizes ' development with their own characteristics'. These two different discourses has made borderlands universities feel at a loss and put them in a development dilemma as well. To solve that problem,it is necessary for people at borderlands universities to take more initiative and regain their confidence so as to ' save' and revitalize the schools and themselves as well.
