摘要
作为中国社会转型的一项重要表征,20世纪80年代以来出现的中国城市新移民以及这个移民群体在社会生活当中所遭遇到的问题,其实并不只是移民本身的问题,而是关系到中国社会"该往何处去"的问题。对于关心中国城市社会发展的学者而言,如何全面而深刻地描绘城市新移民群体的生存景况,分析造成这种景况的社会原因,探讨新移民群体融入城市社会的进路,以匡护社会正义、构建和谐社会,乃是一项艰巨的学术使命。在此意义上,周大鸣先生一书《城市新移民问题及其对策研究》以及他的研究团队做了一个表率性的研究。
As an important representation of social transformation in China, Chinese urban new immigrants appeared after the t980s. The problems encountered by these immigrants in social life are actually those of Chinese society concerning where it should be oriented to rather than the problems of immigrants themselves. For the scholars who care about the development of urban society in China, it is quite difficult an academic task to fully and profoundly describe the living state of urban new immigrants, analyze the social cause leading to such circumstance, as well as explore new approaches for immigrants to integrate themselves into urban society to realize social justice and build a harmonious society. The book Research on Problems and Countermeasures of Urban New Immigrants by Zhou Darning, as well as his research team, has conducted the study that can be regarded as a model in this field.
