Outdoor particulate matter can enter rooms through building envelope cracks, resulting in a poor indoor air quality.Generally, the ability of outdoor particles entering indoor spaces is quantified by particle penetration coefficient.Establishes a correlation model of particle penetration coefficient and air change rate, considering the key role of building envelope structural characteristics both in the indooroutdoor air flow and the outdoor particle entering indoor spaces.Analyses and expounds the influence of air change rate on particle penetration coefficient.Discusses the necessity of the correlation between particle penetration coefficient and air change rate by a case simulation.
